Trachycephalus resinifictrix Terrarium Gestaltung

So gestern Abend hab ich das Terrarium 80x50x80 (bxtxh) geholt.
Heute habe die alte Rück- und Seitenwand rausgerissen!

Jetzt bin ich gerade am Überlegen ob ich nur eine Rückwand mache oder mit Seitenwände arbeite?!

Und ob ich selbst eine aus Styropor bastle oder eine Naturkork Rückwand?!

Was meint ihr was ist besser bei einem Regenwaldterrarium??

so sieht es momentan aus!

Die Rückwände waren mit Klebestreifen befestigt! Dahinter war echt ne Sauerei....Heimchen Friedhof!

also ich würde alle Wände mit LTG (Latexbindemittel-Torf-Gemisch) verkleiden. Das kommt bei Tropenterrarien ziemlich realistisch rüber und speichert gleichzeit ne Menge Feuchtigkeit.

750 ml Latexbindemittel reichen für ca 0,4 qm. Das musst du dann mit Torf im Verhältnis 1:3 mischen. Auf meiner Website kannst du die genau Anleitung anschauen.

also 100ml Latexbindemittel und dann 300g Torf oder??

Also die LTG Methode gefällt mir am besten! Danke für den Tip!

Ne nicht nach Gewicht gehen. Angenommen du hast einen 100 ml Messbecher, dann schüttest du 100 ml Latex und 3 mal den Messerbecher mit Torf zueinander.
Aber das merkt man schon an der Konsestenz wenn man mischt ob es so gut ist oder nicht. Auch wenn man es noch nie gemacht hat.

Also ich finde im Internet nur SChwarztorfgranulat, geht das auch oder soll das kein Granulat sein?

Ja genau.
Nimm lieber den normalen Schwarztorf. Kostet ja nur 2-3 Euro und bekommst du in jedem Baumarkt oder Gartencenter.

Werd dann die Woche mal anfangen die Sachen zu besorgen!

Werd jetzt erstmal das komplette Terrarium reinigen!
Hab die blöden Klebestreifen bisher abgezupft! (war ne Scheißarbeit)
